Born in London, Sept 2015 and currently residing in Zagreb, Croatia, the brand was originally started as a project between husband and wife, Antonela & Alex Perkins. Brand's name being made from their initials and the initials of the place where it all happened.Since then, a lot has changed and now CAPLDN is run only by Antonela who collaborated with her friend Tomislava that stitches all Antonela's ideas together.
CAPLDN is a Trans-European brand founded on the ethos of sustainable, ethical apparel. Contributing to the fight against fast fashion, CAPLDN's mission is to do good whilst outputting creativity that makes others look good. All whilst ideally having some fun and making a living. Launching with a series of male and female geometry-inspired illustrated tees. The inaugural campaign set the precedent for CAPLDN's productions using 100% organic cotton, solvent-free, water-based inks, and climate-neutral manufacturing methods.

Our goal is to make people conscious of how damaging the fashion industry is, how fast fashion is destroying our planet. We want to produce garments with a message, empower people and teach them how they can change their lifestyles for the better future.
We don’t use any massive factories (everything is pretty much done by ourselves), and we carefully do our research to make sure our partners are following the same ethical and sustainable values as ourselves.
We believe that another way to support a more just and healthy environment is to be proactive with charitable campaigns. So far, we supported building two toilets for the Toilet Twinning organisation, and we continue collecting money for charitable organisations.
